Once upon a time in a small, secluded village, there lived an old couple who had one child by the name of Angelica. She stayed in a village called Zambeni in Namibia, and her parents were struggling to make ends meet; she would always wonder where her next meal would come from. Many nights Angelica’s parents would fight because they didn’t have money, as her father was unemployed and struggling to publish his book, which he had been working on for the last five years. Angelica thought her father could do better.
When Angelica told her parents about becoming an author, they thought she could not do it, since her father had been struggling to get published. Angelica loved reading, but since no one believed in her, she was never inspired. A few years later they moved to South Africa so that her parents could look for jobs, and better opportunities. Her parents passed away a few years later, when she was seventeen years old. She did not have any other family member in South Africa, but she was welcomed into an orphanage home. Angelica struggled to adapt to the new living arrangements, and that led her to move from house to house until she found a family that loved her dearly.
She also finally went to school with the help from her new parents, but many children and their parents discriminated against Angelica by calling her mean migrant names. Others also made fun of her when she told them that her future profession was to be an author. One day she read a book, and it was not just a regular book but a motivational book about self-empowerment and education. Angelica really got inspired to write her own motivational books. She started writing stories and sometimes poetry about great benefits of accommodating people in foreign countries.
Angelica joined a worldwide short story competition, and she worked hard to have her book published. That inspiration helped her to open up to her foster parents, and they saw how good of a writer she was. Her adopted family supported every step of her writing journey and believed in Angelica’s future.
The day came when they were announcing the best book from all across the country. Angelica became one of the winners, and got her books published by her favourite motivational speaker and speaker, Dhar Mann. Therefore, today Angelica learnt that reading can remake the world, and that if you do what you love, it will eventually lead to success, and that’s what she has shown many people.
